MY PRIORITIES

I have been involved from the early stages of the Alamo Incorporation movement. I believe in Incorporation in order to preserve and maintain Alamo for the future. My main objective is to preserve Alamo's unique character and quality of life and to preserve our safe communities.

The citizens of Alamo are well educated and informed on the issues facing our town. My goal is to establish a voice for the citizens in the county and in all governmental matters. I believe it is important to listen to the residents of Alamo - keep an open mind, be mindful and sensitive to resident's concerns. I will establish an ongoing communication to address this and will meet with our community to understand the issues before making any decisions on your behalf.

Safety in our community is a critical concern to me and to every resident of Alamo. I commit to make this one of my top priorities as a council member. The option to continue with the Contra Costa Sheriff's Office is a crucial issue facing Alamo and I will give this the utmost careful consideration and love to hear more from our community on this issue.

In order to make decisions regarding infrastructure requirements and improvements, the first Alamo City Council would benefit from compiling all relevant data. We must then prioritize and establish budgets and provide guidance for the successful completion of all projects.

I live in Alamo primarily because of the semi rural surroundings and its obvious beauty. As a council member, I will seek to balance the economic growth of our community while maintaining the Alamo way of life.

MY VISION FOR ALAMO

  • Incorporation is crucial in order to allow Alamo to better manage its own planning, parks, policing and roads through an elected Town Council.
  • My main objective as a council member will be to preserve Alamo's unique rural character and quality of life and to maintain our safe neighborhoods.
  • The residents of Alamo are well educated and informed on the issues facing our town. I will listen to your concerns and represent your interests. I will fight to ensure that the desires of special interest groups do not prevail at your expense.
  • Police and fire protection in our neighborhoods are critical concerns to our community. I commit to making this as one of my top priorities as a council member.
  • As a retired engineer I have the expertise and time to analyze the complex issues that we will face as we incorporate.
  • I will bring honor and integrity to our community for all of us and future generations.
