WHY I'M RUNNING

My name is Vishwas (Vish) More and I am running for city council because I care deeply for our community and the wonderful people that make up our town.

It's an exciting time. As we are in the process of incorporation, I am running for city council to ensure that Alamo preserves its character and continues to thrive.

Like you, my wife and I are proud residents of Alamo. We are all fortunate to live in Alamo and we need to preserve our natural surroundings, our sense of community and our safe environment.

As Councilmember, I will bring my prior public/private sector experience to move Alamo in a positive direction. I have over 25 years as Project Manager and Chief Engineer for Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and worked as a Chief Engineer for Stanford Linear Accelerator. This background gives me unique management, financial and engineering qualifications which will allow me to serve as an effective Councilmember from day one.

Furthermore, I am proud of my involvement in community activities. I have served on numerous Boards such as the Wheelchair Foundation, CSU East Bay and am presently serving as the Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Alamo.

I am dedicated to serving my community and those around me. I look forward to the opportunity to serve as your voice in the Alamo City Council. Thank you for your support and your vote.

Sincerely,

Vishwas More
