Dear Alamo Neighbor,
I know Vishwas for the last ten years as neighbor and friend and feel that his qualifications and experience along with his dedication to the incorporation of Alamo as City makes him the best leader to represent us on the council. I recommend him as our council member for upcoming elections, please vote for him, thanks.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am very pleased to support the incorporation of Alamo and will be voting in the special election to be held on March 3, 2009, in favor of incorporation and for Vishwas More to serve as one of the five City Council Members in the newly formed City of Alamo.
With Vish's extensive background in both the public and private sectors, I believe he is extremely well qualified to handle the many challenges that will be facing the new City of Alamo. He has over 30 years experience with Lawrence Laboratories, Berkeley and the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. Vish has solid experience in project management in defining projects, preparing budgets, and designing and overseeing the construction and maintenance of multi-million dollar facilities. As past President of the California Community Colleges System, he was responsible for an annual budget of more than $5 billion which impacted some 1.5 million students in 108 Community Colleges.
With Vish's unique financial experience, his strong management capabilities and solid engineering background, he will be able to provide the City of Alamo with what it will be seeking in a City Council member--leadership, judgment and fiscal responsibility to preserve Alamo for the future.
Please join me in supporting the incorporation of Alamo and in electing Vish More as a member of the Alamo City Council.
Regards,
Steve

I met Vish More during the Petition Drive toward Alamo Incorporation.. He was a very active volunteer giving many hours obtaining signatures and meeting the people who live in Alamo. He has a good sense of what the average Alamo resident sees as the future for Alamo. His enthusiasm is contagious, but more importantly, he listens to your opinion. He represents the average man and women and doesn't have a hidden agenda. I believe he will give more than 100% of his time to preserve and protect the values we all hold dear regarding the future of Alamo. I am endorsing Vishwas More for Town Council in Alamo in March of 2009.

I support Vishwas (Vish) More in his candidacy for Alamo City Council because of his broad spectrum of relevant experience, the depth of his knowledge, and his remarkable record of dedication and contributions to community service. Vish is first and foremost an honest, committed, tireless individual who wants to serve our citizens by using all his many skills, talents and abilities acquired over 3 decades of involvement with fiscal and administrative issues dealing with local, county, state and federal agencies. As a professional engineer, he employs his detailed analytical strengths to understand problems before reaching a decision. He is just the sort of individual I want to be on the fledgling City Council. I'm confident he will always act in the best interests of community. Please join me in voting for Vish More.

Dear Alamo Neighbor,
On March 3, 2009 residents of Alamo will vote on city incorporation. This ballot will also designate five new city council members if this measure passes.
No matter what your views are concerning the incorporation measure, it is very important the new town council be made up of people who are up to the task, and dedicated. The transition from county to city management of services will require leadership, financial, and management skills. The council will be required to create a new Alamo management of services structure with no interruptions of these services.
For these reasons I support Vishwas More for city council and ask that you vote for him on March 3. I have personal experience working with Vish on Alamo community projects and found him to be energetic, dedicated, and focused. On volunteer projects he has contributed selflessly and consistently to his community. His vast professional experience and expertise combined with his strong work ethic make Vish an obvious choice for this very important City Council position.
On March 3 please vote for Vish More for Alamo City Council.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
My friend Mr. Vish More is running to be a Council Member of the City of Alamo, if the residents choose to incorporate. I run a business in Alamo, I own a condominium in Alamo, but do not live in Alamo. Consequently, I can not vote either on the incorporation or the council members.
However, it is a pleasure to endorse the candidacy of Vish More.
It takes all the villagers and some leaders to run a city!
Vish impresses me as a principled leader and will always put the needs of Alamo residents as his top priority. The long term effects of incorporation are unclear, but I am convinced that Vish will listen to the needs and concerns of the residents and do the right thing, at all times.
Please exercise your vote in his favor and let your voice be heard through him.
Cheers

"Yes, we do need a lot of input from our young community
involving parks and recreation matters." Vishwas More
Greetings,
I have been a business owner and resident of Alamo for over 20 years. From my observation, it is now clear that the incorporation of Alamo is an initiative whose time has come.
My reasons for this are that the long-term benefits of incorporation will allow the residents and businesses of Alamo to shape the character of the community. Alamo is one of the most sought-after towns to live in within Northern California. By beautifying the existing business district in Alamo, we can revitalize the entire city.
An additional component of incorporating would be the opportunity to bring in a well-renowned entity such as the Chamber of Commerce to strengthen our voice.
After meeting with Vishwas More who has presented himself as a candidate for council member, and after researching other professionals tied into community policy, I am confident that taking this step for Alamo to become incorporated is the best decision for long-term growth. Along with my support for the incorporation, I am also personally endorsing Vishwas More for the city council. I know him to be intelligent, caring, and incredibly capable as well as a resident who loves his community as much as I. Please support Vish in his candidacy as well as forwarding his attached statement to friends and family.

According to Preston Canzius, Chevron Sr. Counsel, "Vish is tireless...extremely capable, and one of the nicest people I know." In regards to incorporating, Preston feels that "If we incorporated Alamo, we would have our tax-base being spent where it is generated."
To whom it may concern,
I have known Vish More since joining the Alamo Rotary Club. I can heartily support him in his quest to be one of the new Council members should Alamo incorporate. His extensive background in positions of leadership and management throughout his career have prepared him well for such a role. The new city of Alamo will need people like him to guide us in the early stages of city hood. The early decisions made by the City Council will have a huge impact on the success of this new town. Now is the time for experienced leadership - good intentions are not enough. It will be very important to have capable Council members at the helm.
Yours , truly,

Vish, I hope the following helps!
As a fellow Rotarian I have known Vish for 2 years. Not only do I have the opportunity to chat with him at our weekly Rotary luncheons, but I have the opportunity to see him involved in numerous community events. Hard working and intelligent, Vish operates with the utmost of integrity and the highest ethical standards. Over the years Vish has been successfully involved with local, county and state projects. His experience and knowledge will be a true asset to the Alamo City Council. In addition, Vish was instrumental in making the Alamo Music Festival a success, and in coordinating fellow Rotarians' trip to India to help eradicate polio. I'm voting for Vish. I truly hope you'll join me.
